Goethe Institute to host creative writing workshop
For those aspiring to become good and creative writers, this is absolutely the best moment to grab this once in a lifetime opportunity. In conjunction with Goethe German Institute, renowned professor at Kigali Institute of Education Fausin Nyagezi Rwamfizi will teach wannabe writers the techniques and methods of creative writing in Kinyarwanda.
High school and university students will be the main target, but as the workshop is open for everyone, every aspiring writer is invited to this informative workshop. And speaking briefly of the workshop, Nyangezi told kigalirat.com of its importance to the youth and students in particular.
He said, “Everyday we meet adventures, both interesting and sad, and we go on to recount them to our families or friends, so why not put them in writing and let other people read them? This is an opportunity for the students to learn these techniques for absolutely nothing!”
The workshop set to take place on Wednesday 9th October 2013 from 4 to 8pm will attract participants drawn from all corners of the country. Participation shall be free for all.
