Fashion is my passion, Iraguha

Francis Iraguha is one of the rare fashion designers you would ever meet. Much to the surprise of even himself, Iraguha would go to an extent of making a garment just for the love of it as opposed to profit making.

An ardent lover of fashion and fashion industry as a whole, he has been in it for almost a decade, seen it all and done it all.

Located at Kisimenti Airport Road is his ZAHABU Fashions which deals in all kinds of tailoring and designing. For the better part of the day, Francis spends most of his time carefully studying, analyzing and discovering new fashion trends that are appealing to the local people.

“I do a lot of research on how I can improve my designs because in fashion, things change quickly and you can easily lose focus along the way. Fashion is my passion and with time I continue to love it more and more,” he said.

Francis was also one of the designers that participated in Kigali Fashion Week late 2012, displaying a combination of African and contemporary attire that is the hallmark of ZAHABU Fashions.
